Community work is part of the salon's story. It helped establish The Justice and Soul Foundation, which teaches cosmetology skills to survivors of sex trafficking and at-risk people in the Pacific Northwest and in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The salon supports the foundation with money and staff volunteer hours and sponsors its yearly Fashion SOULstice Auction in Seattle. The salon has also sponsored Vision House, Banchero Disability Partners, and the Shoreline Museum.
