Jairas Updos is run by its owner, Jaira, who styles updos and event hair for brides, quinceañera clients, photoshoots and social gatherings. Bookings start with a paid, nonrefundable retainer and a signed contract.

Trials are done only at the owner's own location. The Bridal One Package, at $450, bundles a trial, a day-of hairstyle, extension installation, veil or accessory installation and an extra hour for a second look or touchups. A stand-alone Bridal Hair Trial is $200. Day-of bridal and quinceañera styling starts at $180, and bridal second looks start at $90, with travel and late start charges applied where they apply.

Locations within 45 minutes of the owner's base have no minimum booking, while farther locations need at least three services. Sunday appointments can be requested. A one-on-one Glam Waves and Updo course costs $400, with a $150 nonrefundable deposit, and runs about four hours. It covers two hairstyles and posing clients for photos, with products, supplies and hot tools included, and attendees may bring their own model or request one. A gift bag is included. The course balance is due on class day and is accepted by cash or Zelle only.

Cancellations by clients need to be made at least 30 days before the reserved date or the full agreed amount is forfeited. Cancellations or no-shows within 30 days of the event forfeit all monies paid. If the owner has to cancel, that can be done within 30 days of booking, and a backup artist is provided.
