Jaimie Gates's Stylist is a private studio in Solon, run by owner and stylist Jaimie Gates. The studio describes itself as designed for clients who want luxury without fuss. Visits are booked by appointment, and the studio is open Monday through Saturday.

Haircuts are shaped to each client's hair type, texture and lifestyle, with modern shapes and soft layers. Color is mixed for each client, covering blonding, dimensional brunette and balayage, and recent work shown includes an all-over gloss. Pulp Riot color is used for fashion and vivid shades. Extension services range from $1,200 to $3,000 or more. Touch-ups are recommended every 6 to 8 weeks, depending on the method, and the extension care guide advises against sulfate, alcohol and heavy-oil products.

Booking and cancellation terms are set out in advance. Rescheduling with at least 48 hours notice is free and done through the online booking system. Cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours carries a fee of 50 percent of the service cost, up to $500, and no-shows are charged the full cost. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the appointment is changed or rescheduled. Completed services are not refunded, and extension deposits are non-refundable under the service agreement. Payment plans are offered through Cherry, with 0% APR options subject to eligibility, and applying does not affect credit.

Each extension application is customized to the client's hair and lifestyle, and aftercare instructions are tailored to the individual.
