Jacqs Hair works from two locations. In San Francisco, California, appointments are held at AE Salon on the fifth floor of a building on Tillman Place.

Booking is secured with a deposit of 50% of the service total, due one week before the appointment. Appointments without a deposit on file a week ahead may be released to other clients. Cancelling 48 or more hours ahead gets a full deposit refund or a free reschedule. Cancelling 24 to 48 hours ahead gets a 50% refund. Less than 24 hours' notice and no-shows are charged the full reserved amount, and all services are non-refundable. For travel appointments, a cancellation after the stylist arrives that cannot be rearranged during the visit is charged 50% of the total, or 100% if made within 24 hours. Appointments starting outside 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM carry a 25% premium on the service rate.

Clients with concerns about a service should raise them within 72 hours to qualify for a complimentary adjustment. Adjustments are booked within two weeks of the original service and are offered case by case to refine the result, not to change the agreed color direction or look. If the desired outcome differs from the original plan or needs more time or product, extra charges or a new appointment may apply. A protective cape is provided, though the salon is not responsible for clothing or belongings. The salon also does not accept liability for hair damage tied to undisclosed earlier chemical services, medications, lifestyle factors or non-professional products used at home.
