About

The space was designed around client comfort and reflects her personal taste. It sits inside an acupuncture practice on the 16th floor of the Mallers Building on East Madison Street. Parking is limited, so the business suggests rideshare or the CTA, and notes that SpotHero can be used to reserve parking.

Treatments are built around the individual. Each one is adjusted to a client's skin type, lifestyle and goals, and anyone unsure where to start can book a consultation first. Products come from Dermalogica and Face Reality, which the business describes as professional grade.

A customized facial runs 60 minutes and moves through a deep cleanse, exfoliation, professional extractions, a deep treatment and time to relax. Longer sessions add gua sha or buccal massage, which is done from inside the mouth and targets the mouth, jaw and neck. Luminfusion combines a nano-infused exfoliant, brightening serums, an energy-boosting masque and red LED light, with products selected for each client. Clients are asked to allow extra time for a first visit, since extra time for late arrivals cannot be guaranteed.

The business also publishes the Innerspace Journal, with articles on healthy skin, gua sha and self care, and sends a newsletter of three to five emails a month.

Treatments are tailored to each client's skin type, lifestyle and goals, and the business describes its approach as holistic and goal-oriented.

The space was designed with comfort in mind and reflects the founder's personal aesthetic.
