Every visit begins with a conversation about the haircut, color and services that suit the client. The consultation takes about 15 minutes and is free. Melisa then builds the hairstyle around the client's own hair rather than offering one standard look. Clients who want a dry cut without shampoo or styling can book that too, after a detailed consultation.

The menu covers cutting, color and styling. Haircuts include a women's cut with shampoo and blow-dry styling, a dry cut, and a bang trim for clients who already have bangs. Curly hair has its own options: an intro curly cut that includes care tips for curls, and a curly cut that is dried and then finished with a diffused style. Color work ranges from root touch-ups for covering gray and all-over color by hair length, to mini, partial and full highlights, with a toner required after highlight appointments. Demi-permanent toners are also offered as a finishing color.

Treatments include a hydrating hair treatment and a detoxifying mask for the hair and scalp. Shampoo style adds a scalp massage and a finish of blowout, curls or a sleek style. For clients who want to style at home, a Styles class teaches braiding and curling techniques. Clients bring their own tools or accessories to that class.

Bookings run through an online scheduling site. Cancellations need at least 48 hours' notice. After three cancellations past the 24-hour timeline, a 50% deposit is required for future appointments. Buy Now, Pay Later is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000 and needs approval before the appointment. Hours are Monday and Wednesday from 10 AM to 7 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 1:30 PM, and Saturday from 9 AM to 4 PM; the studio is closed Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

Melisa customizes each hairstyle to the client's own hair, with a consultation before services begin.
