About

Great Clips Artesian Square is one of the franchisee-owned locations in the Great Clips chain, run by a local owner who handles hiring. The salon is in Martinsville, Indiana, in the Artesian Square area beside a Kroger store. The chain says it has more than 4,400 salons across the U.S. and Canada. The salon describes itself as family-friendly and affordable, and says its stylists are trained in advanced techniques, current hairstyles and customer care.

Haircuts are the core of the menu, with separate groupings for men, women, children and seniors, plus a general set of cuts for everyone. Barbering add-ons such as beard trims, neck trims and bang trims are available as quick touch-ups, and shampoo is offered with professional products. Styling is priced by length, and formal styling includes updos for events. The salon does not offer hair coloring.

Visits are built for speed and flexibility. Walk-ins are accepted, and Online Check-In on the Great Clips website or app shows estimated wait times and lets customers join the waitlist before they arrive. Online Check-In is not a booking, and it cannot be used for perms or formal updos. Customers can ask for a particular stylist when they finish checking in, though that may lengthen the wait. Clip Notes keep technical notes on past haircuts so any stylist in the chain can repeat a cut. The salon also takes part in community programs, including complimentary clipper cuts for people in cancer treatment through Clips of Kindness, free cuts or cards for service members on Veterans Day, and Wigs for Kids, which the salon should be asked to confirm. Stylists are experienced with children and adults who have sensory or special needs and will make reasonable accommodations.

Walk-in friendly and quick, with online check-in to help customers plan around wait times. Clip Notes keep each client's cut consistent across stylists.
