Holiday Skincare

Holiday Skincare is a one-person studio run by esthetician Renae Berg. It first opened in Madrona, Seattle, and in January 2022 moved to Renae's home in South Seattle, where appointments take place.

Booking is handled by text or phone rather than online, and appointments can be scheduled up to two months ahead. Each booking is secured with a verifiable credit card. Cancellations need at least 48 hours notice; cancelling late or not showing up means the full treatment amount is charged to the card on file, with no exceptions, and this applies to gift certificate bookings too. The last facial of the day starts at 1:30pm.

Facials are shaped around each client's skin type and skin care goals, with Renae choosing the products and techniques for each visit. The studio works with Eminence Organics products, which are cold pressed and paraben free. Clients can bring the products they already use at home to a first facial appointment. A glycolic peel is available on its own or added to a facial.

Beyond facials, the studio offers lash tinting, brow tinting, combined lash and brow tinting, brow shaping, brow tweezing and waxing. Waxing requires body hair over a quarter inch long, which usually means two to three weeks of growth. Signature facials are offered for weddings and special events, with a monthly series suggested in the months leading up to a wedding. Gift certificates can be bought in person, by email or by text, and can be mailed to the buyer or recipient for a small shipping fee.
