Waxing is done with a hard wax that grips the hair rather than the skin, so no strips are used. The vegan wax is made by an esthetician for professional waxers. Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice; longer hair is trimmed to around 5mm first. Clients are asked not to wax while using topical retinoid creams for a week before and for several days after an appointment. Only one guest is allowed in the treatment room at a time. Minors are welcome with a parent, and the studio has a chair for parents with children. Guests aged 16 and older may consent to waxing on their own, while guests aged 15 and younger need a parent's consent for their first visit.
The bikini menu is arranged in tiers. Front Brazilian removes hair from the front only, the Brazilian removes hair from the front and between the cheeks, and the Manzilian Full removes all hair including between the cheeks. The Hollywood removes all hair from the front, while the Hollywood Full also includes between the cheeks and can be paired with a gel mask. Signature Brazilian is for new guests and those returning after 4 to 5 weeks and includes a consultation, while Maintenance Brazilian is designed for guests who wax every 4 to 5 weeks. Bundled packages are available, including 3 and 6 session packs for Hollywoods, Brazilians and Manzilians, plus loyalty packs for her and for him.
Brow services are customized and can include waxing, tweezing, trimming and shaping. The Eyebrow Makeover is a longer appointment that adds brow mapping and filling in. Semi-permanent brows are done with microblading and shading and need a touch-up 6 to 8 weeks after the first visit. Brow lamination and tints, eyelash lifts and tints, and a combined brow and eyelash appointment of about 1 hour 30 minutes are also offered. Eyelash lifts should be spaced at least 4 weeks apart and last 6 to 8 weeks, and brow and lash services should stay dry for 24 hours after a lift, henna, lamination or tint.
Spray tanning is priced at $63 and takes about 15 minutes. The Mid and Deep solutions have an 8 hour wait time, and the Express solution has a 3 hour wait time. The Deep solution is paraben, gluten, sulfate, phthalate, GMO and triclosan free, and vegan and nut-allergen free. The Medium and Light solutions use naturally derived or organic ingredients such as aloe, vitamin A, vitamin C, green tea and coconut. Clients should exfoliate and remove unwanted hair at least 8 hours before a tan and avoid scented lotions and oils.
