Services are arranged into three menus: Fabulous Curls, Loyal Guest and Added Curl Love. New clients begin with a signature curly cut that is dry cut and sculpted curl by curl, followed by a hands-on styling lesson covering product application, clipping, plopping and diffusing. New clients also receive personalized product recommendations, a new guest bag, and an invitation to a private group after the first visit.
Returning guests can book shorter visits, such as a 30-minute maintenance trim, a curly cut with style, a curly styling appointment, or a 30-minute coaching session on product application. Add-on treatments, including Spa Mist II deep conditioning, a deep conditioning and detox service and a scalp scrub, can be added to services. The salon also offers curl styling workshops.
Booking works online, and online booking opens on the first of each month at 8am for the following month. No deposit is required, but a valid credit card with adequate funds must be on file to hold an appointment. Appointments must be confirmed within 48 hours. Cancellations within 48 hours are charged half the service price, while no-shows and same-day cancellations are charged the full price. Pricing is the same for men, women and children, and children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult who learns the process alongside them. Guests are asked to arrive with hair fully detangled and to wash and style it within two days of the appointment, without pulling it back. New guests are asked to text a photo of their hair before booking.
Takes a health-based view of curls and favors clean beauty and carefully chosen, high-quality products. Cutting is done with layering rather than razors or thinning shears, and color is handled with a colorist focused on hair integrity.
