Every new extension client starts with a consultation, which is required and is not combined with same-day installation. The consultation looks at hair goals, lifestyle, how much hair is needed, whether hand-tied or K-Tip extensions suit the client, and what upkeep will involve. Pricing depends on those goals, and the amount of hair is set at this stage. The initial installation covers the hair, the installation and a cut and style. A first-time installation includes a blending haircut and style.

Extension methods include beaded row sew-ins, keratin-bonded extensions and custom-colored wefts. Hand-tied extensions are thin wefts sewn onto a beaded row and installed without heat, tape or glue, and they are generally suited to clients with at least shoulder-length hair. K-Tip extensions are pre-bonded strands attached to natural hair with a keratin adhesive and heat. Full move-ups are done every 6 to 8 weeks with new beads and thread, and mini move-ups every 3 to 4 weeks. The extension hair is reused at each move-up unless the client wants a color change. With good home care the hair can last up to 9 to 12 months, and about 2 months without it. The salon advises a paddle brush, gentle brushing, and avoiding harsh water and harsh products. Extensions should not be colored or lightened at home, and toning is best left to the stylist. The salon says its team was trained by Habit Salon to install extensions.

The color menu includes a demi-permanent gloss, grey coverage root touch-ups, and custom blonding in three sizes, each with toner, K18 and a blowdry. Makeup is offered as a full face service with Nikki, including skin prep, lashes, highlighting and contouring, with a touch-up kit. Spray tans use a custom formula, and clients are asked to shave, shower and exfoliate before the appointment. The salon is open Wednesday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm.
