Devan puts healthy hair first. Each visit begins with a look at the hair's current condition, its history, what the client hopes for and their longer-term goals. A first appointment adds a tailored consultation, a hair and scalp check, a conversation about past treatments and daily routine, a walk-through of products and their ingredients, and a maintenance plan built for that client. The studio suggests about six months of steady care before hair is on a healthy path.

The menu covers all-over and semi-permanent color, root touch-ups, color correction for hair that has been colored before, and blonding on untreated hair. Cutting includes trims and women's haircuts, with pricing based on hair type and length. Styling runs from blowouts and silk presses to twists, pixie styles, wash-and-go looks and rod sets. Relaxers, a smoothing treatment for frizz and humidity, and a set of deep conditioning, protein, steam and clarifying treatments round out the list.

New clients start with one of the reset packages, and returning clients who have been away for more than three months book one as well. Color requires a consultation first, and color is usually not done on the same day as that consultation. House calls and on-site styling are available through a travel fee that depends on location, gas and tolls. Parking is available in the shopping center, on the street, and in an underground garage entered from Whitworth Drive.

Healthy hair comes first here: every visit starts with an assessment of current condition, history, expectations and long-term goals, followed by a plan the client can keep up.
