Every visit starts with a consultation, and complimentary consultations are offered for cuts, color, keratin, extensions and styling. The salon cuts hair after it has been washed and dried. Custom color is mixed for each guest, from all-over shades to dimensional color, and every custom color includes a color-conserve strengthening treatment. Base color or gloss is recommended every four to six weeks. Prices can differ between team members based on experience, technical skill, demand and performance, and men's and women's haircut prices are not set by gender. A community pricing option lets guests book a community cut or community color at a price the team member sets within a range.

Locations keep their own hours; most are open Tuesday to Saturday, while the Bond Street salon in New York is open every day and the Los Angeles and San Francisco salons have their own weekly schedules. Online booking runs through a third-party platform, and a valid credit card is needed to schedule, though it is not charged until the visit is complete. The salon follows a 24-hour cancellation policy, and guests who cancel within 24 hours of the start time or do not show up are charged 50% of the scheduled services as a non-refundable fee.

The salon also offers professional education classes in cutting, color and styling for industry professionals, and an assistant program that averages two years and includes intensive training in cut or color. Stylist openings are listed for licensed stylists, and other roles include Senior Stylist or Colorist, Stylist, Apprentice and Guest Services.

The salon starts each visit with a consultation and cuts hair after washing and drying it, with pricing and services tailored to the guest.
