HB Braids

HB Braids is a braiding business at a suite on SE 29th Street in Del City, Oklahoma, run by one braider. The menu covers feed-in, Fulani, knotless, lemonade, regular box, tribal and layered braids, sew-ins, and natural hair styles, with a separate option for children aged 9 and under.

Hair is included in braiding styles, except crochet and bohemian styles. Bohemian hair that is sold on a track must be cut off the track before it can be installed, so clients who choose bohemian hair should remove it from the track, wash it and detangle it before the appointment. Beads, string and hair accessories are not included in the price of a style.

Appointments can be booked for Saturdays and holidays. A deposit secures the booking and is non-refundable, but it is deducted from the total price. The remaining balance is paid by cash or Apple Pay; Cash App is not accepted. Rescheduled appointments must move to a date within 30 days of the original one. Cancelling within 24 hours of the appointment means the full balance must be paid before any other service can be booked.

Clients arrive with hair already washed, blown out and free of grease, since washing is not offered at the suite because it has no sink. Hair needs to be at least four inches long all around for every braided style. Clients should not arrive more than five minutes early, because the space is cleaned between clients.
