Located on Main Street near Medford Square, the salon is about ten minutes away from the Medford/Tufts stop on the Green Line. Bus routes 96, 101 and 134 have stops a brief walk from the door. Drivers can park on Main Street at no charge, or use the municipal lots in Medford Square, which do not charge garage fees. Clients come from Medford and nearby communities, including Somerville, Arlington, Malden, Winchester, Everett and Cambridge. Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The salon is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Every service starts with a consultation before any product is mixed, and new guests agree on a plan before work begins. A free color consultation is offered with no obligation to book that day. Scalp therapy takes about 45 to 75 minutes and begins with a diagnosis followed by exfoliation, steam and massage. The Brazilian Botox smoothing treatment is a protein and keratin treatment that takes about two to three hours and is priced by hair length and density. The salon says its formulas are formaldehyde-free, its technicians are Brazilian-trained, and results last three to four months.

The salon tailors treatments to each client's hair needs and welcomes every hair type and texture. It says it will not promise a result it is not sure it can achieve and will say when hair cannot do something.
