Harmony Day Spa

Harmony Day Spa was established in February 2003 and has served Caldwell and the surrounding area since then. The spa sits on the first floor at the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Smull Avenue and describes the space as fully accessible and wheelchair-friendly. The spa states that its team has more than 20 years of combined experience across esthetics, massage therapy, skincare education and beauty work.

The facial menu is built around science-based skincare and everyday habits. Signature Harmony Foundation Facials are offered alongside the Sculptural Face Lifting & Contouring Facial, which combines external facial massage with buccal massage performed through the inside of the cheeks. The spa says client comfort and consent come first in that work. It presents the buccal facial as a wellness service rather than a medical treatment for TMJ or jaw pain.

Cupping massage uses suction cups placed on selected areas of the skin, and it is offered at 60, 90 and 120 minutes. The spa notes that cupping can leave temporary circular marks that typically fade on their own within days, sometimes a week or longer, and that it is not a substitute for medical evaluation or treatment. Couples massages are available on Fridays and Saturdays. The spa also offers waxing, which it describes as painless.

Pricing listed by the spa: a 60-minute session is $300, the 90-minute initial sculptural facial session is $450, a three-pack of 60-minute sessions is $810 (described as saving 10%) and a six-pack is $1,440 (described as saving 20%). Cupping massage is $145 for 60 minutes, $205 for 90 minutes and $260 for 120 minutes. Prices are subject to change. A monthly HDS Self-Care & Recovery Membership is also offered, and printable gift cards from $300 to $1,000 are sold in the online shop.

Services are by appointment only, Monday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with later hours until 8:00 PM on Wednesdays and Thursdays. A credit card is required to reserve every appointment. Cancellations need 24 to 48 hours' notice depending on service length, and prepaid credit moves to the next visit unless a refund is requested. New clients receive an emailed digital intake form, with paper copies available in the spa. Gift card appointments must be scheduled by phone, and group appointments are limited on weekdays, so clients can call to check availability. On-street parking is available on Smull Avenue, the Smull Municipal Lot is nearby, and 3-hour parking is available in the funeral home lot next door when it is not in use.

The spa takes part in or sponsors work with Girls Inc., CASA, ACLA, The March of Dimes, Hudson Cradle, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training, and the Community Food Bank. It also backs The Felix Organization, which runs programs for young people in foster care. The spa says it is committed to raising awareness of Mental Health First Aid and to meeting clients with compassion during their treatments.
