Its mission is hair removal for all genders and bodies, and it welcomes clients of every race, orientation and presentation.

The spa was founded by Brita, its owner and esthetician, who handles the waxing herself. Most services use a gentle strip (soft) wax. Hard wax is used only for ear and nostril waxing. Full body and full face waxing are not offered as packages, so each area is booked as its own service, from a single brow or lip to full legs or a full back.

Appointments are booked only through the online booking site, which asks for a credit card and some additional details to schedule and hold a time. Clients are asked to arrive five minutes early, with a short grace period after that, and late arrivals may be shortened or rescheduled. Cancellations or changes need 24 hours notice. Friends may wait in the lounge but not in the treatment room, and children are not accommodated. The spa is open Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 10am to 7pm, and is closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday.

Visits can include a Quiet Appointment add-on, in which the provider talks through the client's goals at the start and the rest of the session is silent. Treatment rooms have a HEPA air purifier and a fan, and complimentary cleansing towelettes and tampons are provided. Aftercare products include a roll-on for ingrown hairs and exfoliating wipes, and clients are advised to avoid hot tubs, saunas, heavy exercise and tanning for 48 hours after waxing. Free street parking with time limits is available in front of the salon and on residential streets behind the building.

Gentle soft-wax removal is used for most services, with hard wax reserved for the ears and nostrils, and each area is booked on its own.

Treatment rooms sit in an upstairs loft space and are fitted with an air purifier and a fan.
