HAIRBYSAV was founded by Savannah Fields, who has worked in the beauty industry for 11 years and recently moved to independent work. The studio is at 1616 Cooper Foster Park Road in Lorain, and it is open Tuesdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 8 PM.
The menu ranges from quick visits such as eyebrow waxing and toner to longer sessions like freehand balayage, which takes about three and a half hours, and color correction. Treatments include a semi-permanent gloss for shine and a detangling and hydrating treatment. Braiding, updos, formal styling and a wedding hair trial are also offered for special occasions.
New clients may be asked for a deposit of up to half the estimated total at booking, and some services have set deposit amounts, such as $100 for balayage, color correction and ombre. Deposits are applied to the appointment, and a booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice. Later cancellations or reschedules require half the service total before rebooking, and a no-show requires the full total before the next booking.
Gift cards are available. Buy Now, Pay Later can be used in person for bookings from $50 to $4,000, subject to approval before the appointment. The studio plans to add nail services to online booking.
