Appointments are booked online through GlossGenius, and a 30% deposit is collected at booking and applied to the total. Cancellations made less than 48 hours ahead carry a 50% fee, and moving an appointment with less than 48 hours notice is treated the same way. Arriving five or more minutes late adds a $5 fee, and a client who arrives too late to be seen pays the full service and must rebook. A no-show without prior notice forfeits the entire deposit. Deaths in the family and severe weather that makes travel unsafe are handled without a penalty, and other situations are reviewed case by case.

Color is a large part of the work. A $10 consultation lasting about 15 minutes lets clients talk through their goals, and it is most often used for color corrections, fashion colors and lightening curly hair. The consultation fee is non-refundable and requires a $3 deposit to book. Vivid color and color correction both need a consultation first. Color correction is for clients changing from box dye, a previous stylist or a fashion shade, and requires signing a waiver. Subtle balayage is only done on hair that has never been colored or on new growth.

Natural and textured hair has its own menu of silk presses, twistouts and takedowns with new styles, though blowouts are not offered on natural hair. Haircuts for long or thick hair have a separate, longer service. Pixie cuts and clipper cuts are not offered. Gift cards are sold in $50, $75, $100 and $200 amounts or a custom value, and they are final sale. According to the booking page, the salon has 31 reviews, which praise the work and its consistency.
