HAIR METHOD STUDIO

Hair Method Studio opened in the summer of 2018. Its founders, lead barber Adriana Fournier and stylist and barber Mackenzie Lewallen, set out to build a space where continuing education and support for barbers and hairdressers come first. The team includes stylists and barbers who teach, present and work across both men's and women's hair.

Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 10am to 7pm and Friday through Monday from 10am to 5pm. Appointments are confirmed by email or text, and a booking without a confirmation is not held. Prices vary by stylist, time and the products used. Clients can email reference photos to Hello@HairMethodStudio.com, call (503) 894-8354, or text (971) 266-0309 for after-hours emergencies; those texts are answered the next business day.

Customized women's and men's haircuts include a wash and style, and pricing depends on the stylist. Customized color is priced by the stylist's hourly rate, which is discussed at a consultation. New clients book a consultation before any color service. Hair extensions, including fusion, tape-in and i-Tip methods plus an extension haircut, also begin with a complimentary consultation.

Styling add-ons include the Brazilian Blowout, Split End Repair and hot tool styling, either added to a service or booked on its own. Waxing covers brow shaping and maintenance, full face, lips and chin. Hair treatments can be added to most services, and a guide describes each one so clients can choose.

The studio is built around education and support for its team, and its services are shaped around each client's hair and style rather than a single standard look.
