Hair Color By Lo is run by its owner, Lo, who works as a hair color specialist. The studio concentrates on blonde and brunette color, balayage, highlights, and dimensional and lived-in shades.

A visit includes free parking in the private lot and complimentary snacks, coffee, tea and water for every guest. Estimated service totals can be talked through before a service starts. Weekday hours are typically 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday. Saturdays are available but more limited in the summer months, and Sundays are the owner's day off.

Custom color is priced as either partial or full. Partial custom color covers the top half of the head, including the whole front and the top of the back. Full custom color covers the entire head from the ears to the base of the neck. Both include a toner, a blowout, a heat style and a complimentary conditioning treatment. Grey coverage retouches are also offered as a standalone service.

Clients book online through the GlossGenius booking page. No deposit is needed, but a credit card must be on file to hold an appointment. Missed appointments carry a $250 no-show fee, and cancellations made less than 24 hours ahead may be charged 50% of the projected total. The studio is a one-person color practice where pricing is set by the service type and the technique is chosen to suit the result wanted.
