Sugar is heated to body temperature, spread onto the skin, and removed in the direction the hair grows. According to the studio, this causes less breakage and fewer ingrowns than waxing, and it removes hair growth for about 10 to 14 days after shaving. The studio says the method suits sensitive skin, skin that is prone to ingrowns, and anyone wanting a natural alternative to wax. The bikini menu has four main options. Basic removes hair from outside the bikini line. Extended takes hair about two fingers' width into the line, leaving a tidy triangle or strip. Portlander is a hybrid of basic and Brazilian, leaving a modest front triangle while removing hair from the labia and backside. Brazilian removes all hair from the bikini area and between, though a small strip or triangle can be kept. Maintenance visits and a backside add-on are also offered. Beyond the bikini area, the menu includes face and body sugaring, from small areas such as feet, toes and the chin to full legs and full backs, plus brow and lash services. Brow tinting, brow sugaring with tint, lash tinting, and Korean lash lifts with or without tint are listed under Lash & Tint. Prices run from $10 to $100 across the menu. Requests that aren't on the menu can be arranged by contacting the studio.

Booking details are straightforward. A credit card is required to book every appointment. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and later cancellations or reschedules are charged 50 percent of the service cost. No-shows are charged the full cost. Hair should be at least a quarter inch long, and appointments may be rescheduled if it is shorter. Before a visit, clients are asked to exfoliate lightly a few days ahead, avoid tanning and retinoid creams for 24 to 48 hours, and arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions, oils, deodorant or fragrance. For lash services, clients should arrive free of makeup.

Hair is removed with warmed sugar paste applied and pulled in the direction of growth, a method the studio presents as all-natural.
