He says he started the business after seeing a gap for an inclusive, welcoming hair salon for non-binary clients in North Houston.

The salon describes its main goal as creating a safe, welcoming environment for anyone who wants their hair done, and its aim as helping each client find a cut or color that feels like their authentic self. First-time clients are asked to book a hair consultation so a stylist can see their hair in person. Clients are also asked to bring reference and inspiration photos to the appointment or consultation.

Color is a major part of the menu. A single process color is one shade applied all over, including shampoo, conditioning and a quick power dry, and typically lasts six to eight weeks before a touch-up, depending on hair type and maintenance. A double process color is a multi-step service with highlights, all-over lightening or balayage, followed by shampoo, conditioning, a hot towel and a blow-dry. Clear and treatment glosses add shine, and results generally last several weeks, fading gradually with washing. Custom color requires a consultation, and virtual color consultations are offered, though clients may still be asked to come in for an in-person review.

Cuts range from a short scissor or clipper cut above the ears to a long scissor or razor cut below the chin, both including shampoo and conditioning. Beard trims cover stray hairs and shaping, and there are bang trims and an all-over clipper buzz with no fade. Styling includes a shampoo and style with a hot tool, a conditioning treatment with blow-dry and style, and a Keratin Complex Express Blow Out, a smoothing treatment that takes under an hour. The blowout can be added to a color service, and its results typically last up to six weeks. It is not a permanent straightening solution, and the salon recommends keratin-infused aftercare products to extend results. Tape-in and weft hair extensions from the Dreamcatcher brand are offered, and clients are invited to book a consultation for them.

Waxing covers brow, lip, chin, nose, ear, cheek, nape and full face. Brow waxing cleans and shapes the eyebrows, and results typically last about three to six weeks, with other areas generally lasting a few weeks. Some redness or sensitivity can occur after waxing and usually settles within a few hours.
