The studio occupies the second floor of a building served by a large freight elevator. Clients who choose the elevator option when booking are met by their stylist, who brings them up. To arrive, head to the yellow door on the left-hand side of the parking area and ring the buzzer for suite 206.

Services fall into three groups: haircuts, hair color and virtual hair. Haircuts and hair color are booked by the hour and can be scheduled up to 90 days ahead. If a preferred time is taken, clients can join the waitlist or check back for openings. Tips are included in the listed haircut prices. Five-plus-hour color services start at $500, are priced individually, and require a consultation before booking.

The studio uses environmentally friendly products, and the salon says its goal is a positive experience built on those products, waste management and custom hair work. Tools are sanitized in Barbicide, towels are washed in hot water and kept in sealed bins, and gloves are worn for chemical services. A clean air filter with eHEPA technology runs in the space, and hand wipes and sanitizer are available throughout.

Appointments need at least 48 hours notice to cancel or change. A first cancellation is charged 50 percent of the booked salon services, and a second cancellation or a no-call, no-show is charged 100 percent. Fees must be paid before future appointments can be booked. Arriving more than 15 minutes late counts as a cancellation. The space can also be rented on Sundays for hair and makeup appointments, wedding party rentals and pop-up artist bookings. According to the salon, a portion of its sales is donated to charity each year.

The salon says it aims for a positive experience through environmentally friendly products, waste management and custom hair work.
