Glow Studio Boston is a small, appointment-only studio in Dorchester. Walk-ins are not accepted.

The studio's main offering is a customized first facial called the Self Love Facial, which runs 30 minutes or longer and is priced at $185 or more. It begins with a full skin analysis and ends with a skincare plan built for that client. Clients who already know their skin type and needs can book other deluxe facials, and add-on treatments for specific skin concerns can be selected at booking.

For clients outside Boston, there is a virtual consultation with a licensed esthetician, priced at $185 and lasting 30 minutes, for putting together a customized skincare plan. Of that fee, $50 goes toward the consultation itself and $100 goes toward treatments or products, so the cost is credited if the client books in person.

The studio says its facials can help with cell renewal, premature aging, clogged pores and uneven skin tone. These are the studio's own claims rather than guaranteed results. Some services are listed as double or triple certified, according to the studio.

Booking guidance is specific. Clients who have had Botox or fillers, chemical peels, microblading, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, or face laser resurfacing or hair removal should wait 14 days after the treatment before a facial. Clients with an active or healing cold sore should mention it when booking and wait 14 days after it heals. Cancellations need 24 hours' notice to avoid a $50 fee.

Glow Studio Boston sells its own skincare line, Mayfield Glow, and works with the Glymed Plus and Versed brands. Pink Clay Glow All Day is sold for $20 and the Glow Bundle for $75 through the online shop. The studio is insured with Body Works Insurance.
