About

The concept for Glitzy Girlz Spa Parties came from LaShante Mayfield. The business aims for a colorful, fun setting where young guests can enjoy being pampered, and it describes its services as offering a personal touch.

Each party is planned for one birthday girl and her guests, with up to 15 guests in total. Spa services include mini manicures and facials, and the themed party packages run from a Cotton Candy Bubble Pamper at $60 to a Barbie Spa Bash listed at $650. Named packages include Cotton Candy Pamper, Slime Squad, Paint Glitz, Glow Party and Pamper Me Pretty, and a Facial Spa Pamper Robes package is listed at $185.

Add-ons let families customize a party, with options such as a Glitzy Shots Photo Booth, a 360 Photo Booth, a Runway Dress-Up, a Dry Hair updo, customized tutu skirts, a popcorn machine, Cotton Candy Bubble pamper drinks, glitzy wineglasses, and an Ice Cream Glass Blast that includes a keepsake glass. Cupcakes or cakes can be served from the Spa Bar, though hosts do not set up, move or cut them. The runway is for entertainment only.

Booking requires a $50 non-refundable deposit if the party is cancelled or moved. The party balance is due 24 hours before the event, before 12:00 noon, and Sunday party payments are due the Friday before. Payments made after noon incur a $35 reactivation fee. Cancellations with 24 hours' notice or less carry a fee of 50% of the party total. Accepted payment methods are credit or debit cards, PayPal and offline payment, and cards belonging to someone other than the responsible party named on the invoice are not accepted without owner approval. Parties start on time, and late guests do not receive refunds or adjustments.

Boys are not allowed at parties, but fathers are welcome. Hosts are not licensed nail technicians, so guests are asked to remove nail polish before services.

The business aims to create a colorful, fun experience where kids can enjoy pampering.
