Glitz Glam & Gore Makeup is run by Jessica Pagan, who handles bookings and does the makeup herself. Bridal work is central to the business. Services range from a short mother-of-the-bride or bridesmaid look to a full bridal makeup that includes skin prep, body glow, lashes and a touch-up kit. The studio describes its wedding mornings as calm and low-stress, and bridal looks are designed to hold up in both natural light and flash photography.

A bridal trial takes 1 hour 30 minutes and covers makeup preferences, reference photos and dress style, with the look previewed at different times of day and under different lighting. A trial does not hold a wedding date; securing one requires a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit. Bridal inquiries go by email with the wedding date, location and party size, and wedding-day bookings need at least four clients. Travel for on-location services is charged according to the exact address.

Outside weddings, the studio offers professional makeup with lashes included (1 hour), and a one-on-one beginners lesson that walks through one full everyday look over 2 hours 15 minutes, held Monday through Thursday. Lessons include a list of recommended products at higher-end and more affordable price points. A 3-hour one-on-one lesson for aspiring makeup artists, priced at $325, covers skincare prep, acne coverage, brows, false lash application, contour and highlight, eyeshadow and cut crease, and brush technique.

Halloween and creative looks, priced from $175 to $225 depending on the design and lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, include airbrushed face and body paint, character makeup, and special FX and gore looks with fake blood included. Prosthetics can be applied for an extra fee, but prosthetics and contacts are not included.

Booking details: regular bookings need a $25 deposit that goes toward the balance and must be paid within 30 minutes of submitting a request. Professional makeup and bridal trial bookings need a $25 deposit sent by Zelle or Cash App before approval. Deposits are non-refundable unless the business cancels, and a deposit is refunded if the requested slot is no longer available. Clients who arrive 10 minutes late pay a $15 fee or the appointment is cancelled, and appointments before 8:00 AM carry an extra $20. Children and guests cannot come along, and clients are asked to arrive with clean skin and no makeup, with groomed brows and facial hair. Parking can be limited, so arriving 5 to 10 minutes early is recommended. Last-minute bookings are made by texting the studio phone number.

Each look is built around the individual client, with bridal designs planned to photograph well in natural light and flash.
