The salon was started by Gjeto and Eva, who opened their own salon together and ran it for 19 years. In 2021 they launched Gjetos Salon Suites across from the Twelve Oaks mall in Novi, a concept that lets beauty professionals run their own business without covering all of the expenses.

Blowouts are a major part of the menu. The salon describes its blow dry bar as the best in Michigan, and blowout packages of 4, 6, 8 or 12 visits never expire. Brazilian Blowout smoothing is offered in two versions: the Express, which takes about 60 minutes or less with results lasting about 4 weeks, and the Original, which takes about 80 minutes or less with results lasting up to 12 weeks.

For weddings, bridal hair, makeup and nail services can be booked for the bride or for the full bridal party. Stylists can travel to the bride's suite for a travel fee starting at $100 per stylist. Bridal changes need 72 hours' notice or the full service price is charged, and bridal services that need two providers are booked by phone rather than online.
