Gentleman's Barber Spa was founded on the idea of an exclusive, club-like barber experience, created by master barber Peter Palushi. The shop pairs barbering with spa services and runs four locations: White Plains, Rye, Stamford and a Tribeca spot at the corner of Church and Thomas streets in Manhattan.

Visits can be booked online or by phone, and walk-ins are welcome. The Tribeca location keeps longer hours, open 10am to 8pm Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturday and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.

The setting is classic and club-like, with refurbished barber chairs from the 1950s. Barbering covers haircuts, shaves and expert beard trims, while the spa side offers facials and massage. The shop also sells its own line of Gentleman's hair products and offers gift cards.

The salon describes itself as the best men's haircuts in White Plains and as Tribeca's cleanest cut and shave, and says it won Best of Westchester 2016 for best barbering experience.
