G2 A Men's Salon

Founded in 2014, G2 A Men's Salon focuses on men's hair in the West Loop. Ownership passed to a longtime customer in 2025. The salon describes itself as the West Loop's premier salon for men and says its focus is on high-quality haircuts, color and beard trims.

The menu is split into Hair Services and Facial Grooming. Hair Services include the Signature Haircut ($69, 30 minutes), which covers a consultation, shampoo, a neck shave with a eucalyptus-infused hot towel, a moisturizing treatment, a blow dry and style, and an eyebrow trim as needed. A one-length Buzz Cut is $45 and takes 20 minutes. Gray Camouflage Hair Color blends grey hair for a classic, natural look, and a Scalp Treatment ($25, 15 minutes) uses a Kevin Murphy foaming masque with a scalp massage and style.

New clients can book a New Client Haircut for $55 over 30 minutes. This rate is for new clients only; returning clients who book it are charged the regular $69 Signature Haircut rate.

Facial Grooming covers three services. A Beard Trim-No Fade ($25, 15 minutes) trims the beard with one guard and no razor, without fading into the hairline. A Beard Trim-Faded ($50, 25-30 minutes) is a more detailed trim, faded into the hairline and diffused under the chin, also with no razor. Eyebrow Wax ($25, 15 minutes) shapes brows to the client's preference and removes stray hairs.

Hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10am to 6pm, and Saturday, 9am to 3pm; the salon notes hours may vary. Appointments are booked online through a Square booking page. The salon is also hiring hair stylists and barbers and offers stylists a 45% commission that rises to 50% after 3 months, along with a flexible schedule.
