About

Fringe & Frolic was founded by David Eli Campbell as an independent, single-chair boutique salon in the West Seattle Junction. The salon describes its setting as calm, comfortable and lighthearted.

Clients enter from California Ave, between two other beauty businesses, where Suite 1/2 is marked by an intercom and a logo on the door. Street parking is suggested on Dakota St between California Ave and 42nd Ave, and clients text the stylist when they arrive. Each visit includes a cape, and clients getting color are advised to wear a shirt they don't mind getting color on.

The menu covers color, cuts, styling and keratin. Color work includes balayage, foil work, single process and double process. Cuts range from a short clipper cut to a full haircut, both with a shampoo. Wash and style suits everyday wear or special occasions, and keratin softens curls and smooths hair.

Works one on one with each client in a single-chair setting, so every visit is handled directly by the owner.
