About
David Eli Campbell owns Fringe & Frolic Salon and works as its stylist. He entered the beauty industry in 2010 and has been styling hair for more than ten years. He started training at Gary Manuel Aveda Institute and Gary Manuel Salon, became a senior stylist at Gary Manuel Salon within two years, and held that role until 2019. He also taught in the advanced training program at the Aveda Institute and became a licensed instructor during his time at both Gary Manuel locations. He helped organize a volunteer program across Gary Manuel Salon and the Aveda Institute that offered hair care to people moving out of homelessness, with beauty students and professionals taking part. After 2019 he worked at Glam & Tonics, a boutique salon in Montlake, before opening Fringe & Frolic as an independent single-chair salon in the West Seattle Junction. He begins each client's visit with a consultation on their needs and works with them one on one. The look is built around a relaxing shampoo, a cut and enjoying the appointment. Loyal clients are welcomed, and new clients are too.
