New clients start by emailing the studio to request an appointment. The first visit includes a free consultation about hair, lifestyle and goals, which is used to plan a cut shaped around managing natural curl. A new curly hair cut takes about two hours and costs $150, including the consultation and education on caring for the cut.
Cuts are done wet, and the studio uses a curly hair management system that the owner developed. Products are organic and cruelty-free. Children's cuts are priced by age for both curly and straight hair, and straight cuts for adults are offered in short, medium and long lengths.
The studio is open Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Bookings are taken about six weeks ahead. Color and highlighting are not currently being accepted. Parking in front of the salon is limited to one hour, while the next block and side streets allow two hours. The back lot is reserved for business owners. Prices may change without notice.
Cuts follow a curly hair management system developed by the owner, using wet cutting and a free consultation to plan each cut.
