About

The studio is run by Erika Martinez, a master SMP artist and owner who works directly with each client. Scalp micropigmentation is a cosmetic procedure that places pigment in the scalp to camouflage balding areas and add the appearance of density to thinning hair. The studio also works on grey hair, and the result does not change whether the hair is already grey or greys later.

Every client starts with a free consultation. The studio then gives a personalized quote, and prices typically range from $800 to $3,500, depending on the treatment and the amount of hair loss. The full treatment is quoted as four sessions. Sessions usually run about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, and a mainly bald scalp usually needs at least three to four sessions.

The sessions build on each other. The first uses a lighter pigment, the second adjusts the match and adds density, the third completes the detail, and a fourth is available to refine the result if needed. The hairline is sketched with a wax pencil, usually starting with a soft line that is refined in later visits. The studio describes the procedure as non-surgical. Scalp redness usually settles within 24 to 48 hours after each session, and pigment dots may look darker or larger for up to four weeks before softening.

Financing is available through Cherry, a buy now, pay later company, with plans that may include 0% APR options subject to eligibility. The studio also offers training for people who want to become certified scalp micropigmentation artists. Training is arranged by request through a contact form, and spots open up after contact.

Each treatment is planned individually after a consultation, with sessions added in stages until the result is complete.
