Flourish The Loc Spa

Flourish The Loc Spa is a loc maintenance studio at 3246 Academy Ave., Suite 106, in Portsmouth, Virginia. The studio is run by LaToya "Lotus" Ivory, who works under the name The Loc Whisperer.

Maintenance is done with natural products the studio makes itself.

Clients book online through the Book Now link on the website, and appointments must be confirmed or they are cancelled. Clients who need to change plans are asked to reschedule or cancel at least 7 days ahead. A late cancellation or late reschedule fee of $111.11 may apply, and no-shows or same-day changes are charged the full cost of the services booked.

Appointments are treated as cancelled if a client arrives more than 30 minutes late, and a full service charge applies. If the stylist can still fit a late client in, an additional $55 fee applies. Refunds are not given for services rendered, so clients who are unhappy are asked to say so before leaving so the issue can be addressed. The studio asks clients for communication and respect.
