The salon's aim is hair that fits into clients' everyday lives and that they feel good wearing day to day, rather than hair built around passing trends. Color work covers natural-looking blondes, dimensional brunettes that avoid brassiness, copper tones and gray blending, supported by personalized maintenance planning and natural texture enhancement.
Extension appointments start with a personalized consultation to talk through goals and color match. Hand-tied sew-in wefts on a beaded foundation suit clients who want significant fullness and length, and typically need maintenance every 6 to 10 weeks. K-tip extensions are placed strand by strand, and lightweight tape-in extensions add volume around the face and sides.
Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm, Friday from 2 pm to 7 pm, and Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm. The salon is closed Sunday and Monday. The studio also publishes a blog called Field Notes, which covers beauty, aging, identity and hair.
