The business describes them as designed to look more natural. Medium-size distressed locs are offered from midback to butt length with hair included. Pre-made Vista-Loc and Lisa-Loc styles, hand-made Bonnet-Loc styles, and Rasta Locs are also on the menu, along with butterfly locs and micro braids with locs and twists.

Booking starts with a non-refundable deposit, sent by Zelle. Most locs require $150, and Lisa-Loc, Vista-Loc and Bonnet-Loc require $250. The deposit is applied to the full price, and the remaining balance is paid in cash. Hair should arrive clean, dry, detangled and free of product, and it must be at least 2 to 3 inches long all around to book. Durations are estimates, since appointments can run shorter or longer depending on head size. Clients have a 15-minute grace period, and a $20 late fee is added to the balance at the 16th minute. The studio fixes install issues at no cost within 3 days; after that, a touch-up must be booked.

The studio also runs classes: a virtual distressed faux locs class held over Zoom for 4 hours at $295, and an in-person hands-on faux locs class for 4 hours at $400. Sunday appointments are limited to medium-size styles starting at 3pm, and extra guests are not permitted at appointments because of space.

The studio builds its work around distressed locs, which it describes as designed to look more natural, and it works with pre-made and hand-made loc styles alongside them.
