Fancy Chaney Hair is run by stylist Sarah Chaney from a private salon suite at 201 E Magnolia Blvd in Burbank. The suite sits inside Salon Republic at the Burbank Town Center mall. Clients are seen one at a time, so each appointment is a one-on-one visit.

Before becoming a hair stylist, Sarah worked in regional theatre across the country and in film and TV. Her current work centers on cutting and styling naturally curly hair, and she takes on clients across a range of textures, including curly, kinky, coily, wavy, and straight hair.

The menu is not split by gender, and prices reflect the time and skill a look needs. Complimentary in-person consultations are available to talk through cost, style, and services before booking.

Booking is online. New clients set up a profile through the booking software with their first appointment, and a wait list for preferred days and times is available there. Parking is suggested on the fourth level of the East Garage on 3rd Street between Magnolia and Cypress. Salon Republic can be entered from the mall entrance beside Burlington Coat Factory or from the Magnolia Boulevard street entrance above Five Guys.

Each client gets a customized mix of cut, color, and style, shaped around their natural texture.
