A first visit usually starts with a consultation with a wax specialist, so booking extra time is helpful. The first appointment may run a little longer while the specialist explains the process. Each service begins with cleansing the area, then applying wax and removing it along with the hair, repeated until the skin is smooth, and finishing with a soothing product. Appointments typically take 10 to 45 minutes, and full body waxing can take up to an hour. Guests are asked to arrive a few minutes early to complete paperwork. Before a first visit, the site advises stopping shaving at least two weeks ahead and letting hair grow to about a quarter inch.
Bikini waxing is offered as line, full and Brazilian, each in V and P versions, and the coverage can be customized to a guest's comfort. Body waxing covers arms, underarms, legs, back, chest, shoulders, stomach, butt and smaller areas such as hands, toes, knees and nipples, and body services can be booked on their own or combined in one visit. Facial waxing includes eyebrows, lip, chin, cheeks, sideburns, nose, ears, neck, hairline and full face, and eyebrow tinting is also available. Men can book Brazilian, back and chest waxing, along with other body and face services.
Prices exclude sales tax where applicable and may vary by location. Wax passes, including unlimited annual passes, can save up to 25% per service according to the business, and many passes never expire. Returning guests can choose buy-6-get-1 or buy-9-get-2 passes, and new guests have a buy-9-get-3 offer available in center. Guests can also earn points on services and products through EWC Rewards.
The business says its proprietary Comfort Wax is designed to remove hair from the root while being gentle on skin, and it describes the formula as suitable for all skin types. Brazilian waxing is done without a cloth strip to reduce discomfort.
