ERMc Hairstylist opened in 2015 and became an LLC in 2020. Elizabeth McHenry, a licensed professional hairstylist, owns the business and does the work herself, bringing hair services to the client rather than the other way around.

Visits happen on location. Family and personal appointments are offered at home, and care homes, assisted living and memory care settings, rehabilitation facilities and hospitals are also served. Business, event and professional bookings are handled separately under a concierge menu, which covers business meetings, headshots, speaking engagements, galas, corporate events, fashion shows, TV, film and theatre, and private hair lessons.

Weddings are a major part of the work. Bridal and wedding party styling is priced separately, and trial runs are recommended before the wedding day. Hair extensions can be added to wedding styles for an additional cost, and clip-in extensions are priced on inquiry.

The stylist brings heat tools, a blow dryer, brushes, shampoo and conditioner, styling products and a cape, so a client only needs a chair, a small table or work surface, and access to a sink and outlet if needed. Office hours run Tuesday through Saturday, with Monday and Sunday closed.

Works on site, with haircuts, color and formal styles for weddings and events.
