Hair replacement follows four steps: a private consultation, ordering and customization, a fitting appointment, and ongoing support. The consultation covers hair concerns, goals, lifestyle and budget, and the salon says clients are never expected to decide during that first meeting. Custom toppers can take 6 to 8 hours of color work spread over several days, and after a piece is ordered, customization typically takes 4 to 6 weeks before fitting. At the fitting, the team walks clients through wearing and caring for the new hair at home. Women's toppers attach with pressure-sensitive clips and don't require shaving the head. Men's hair systems are secured with a professional-grade, skin-safe adhesive and do require shaving on top. Upkeep is scheduled by hair system type. Bonded toppers are usually maintained about every 6 weeks, women's maintenance runs every 6 weeks, and men's every 3 to 4 weeks. Hair products and replacement systems are sold separately and discussed at the consultation, and investment pricing for custom work is also set there.
