Elegance of Nails was founded by Daryl, who owns the studio and works there as lead technician. The studio is located at 1416 NW Ballard Way, Suite 2, on the third floor of Ballard Blocks, with free parking available on site. It has two tables and takes bookings only, so there are no walk-ins.
The studio's priorities are the health of the natural nail and careful sanitation. Tools are disinfected and run through autoclave protocols between every client, and the products used are HEMA and TPO free according to the studio. Clients are asked to arrive on time, and to wait outside if they come early or the technician is not yet ready.
Services are organized into natural nail, strength and structure, added length, toes, nail art and removals. Booking is done online through Vagaro. A pedicure is offered at a model rate of $65, compared with a standard price of $95, according to the studio.
Clients are advised to return every two to three weeks and not to go beyond four weeks between visits. Each return visit includes removal of the old product at no extra charge, and lifting or breakage is repaired free within seven days of service. Daily cuticle oil is recommended, and clients are asked not to pick or peel product.
The studio focuses on protecting the natural nail and treats nail health as the first priority.
