The salon describes its staff as the Diva Network, made up of artists, entrepreneurs and students. Members specialize in color, cutting, finishing and hair care. New stylists can train through Dorsey Kirk Academy, which offers apprenticeships, advanced training, state board preparation and business building. Graduates leave with hairstylist education, business fundamentals and preparation for working in the industry.

Clients book online and can request a particular stylist or take the first available appointment. The service menu is grouped by category, from color and highlights to extensions, natural hair styling, waxing and therapy treatments.

Mother's Mix is the salon's handmade, organic moisture formula, sold as a pudding and as an oil. It is made with oils, essential oils and growth components. The salon says it supports growth, stimulates the scalp and moisturizes both hair and skin. The salon also offers the Diva Scalp Treatment, a cool antifungal rinse applied to the scalp.
