DFW Blowout Bar is in Suite 200 at N. Town East Blvd in Mesquite. The salon was opened by owner Doris Franklin as her own hair salon, and it describes itself as a luxury hair salon. Its services are grouped into cutting, styling and treatments, with some listed for textured hair and others for non-textured hair.

The menu covers a wide range. Textured-hair options include the LUXE Silk Flat Iron Press, which includes a steam treatment, round brush blowout and press, and the Silk Pressed Blowout, which adds pin curls. Non-textured options include the Signature Blowout and the Diffused Blowout Style, which includes a curling iron finish. Cutting starts at $15, styling starts at $60 and treatments start at $30. Treatments and add-ons are priced per service and can be paired with any style that includes washing, conditioning and styling. Bonded extensions, including tape-in, beaded-in and sewn-in, carry a $15 styling fee. Guests with sewn-in extensions are asked to contact the salon before booking, and the salon is not responsible for damaged or loose extensions that result from a service.

The salon is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and it is closed on Sundays. A deposit is charged at booking by card, and the remaining balance is charged after services are performed. Cancellations and reschedules need 24 hours' notice through the booking site, the Square app, email or phone. Clients who arrive 15 or more minutes late may have their appointment cancelled, rescheduled or shortened, and are charged the full cost of the service. Repeated late arrivals or no-call no-shows can lead to services being discontinued for a period. Stylist requests are accommodated when possible but cannot be guaranteed.
