For boys, the menu covers a basic denim cut, a bald fade, a taper fade that fades to bald on the temples and nape, and a mohawk. Colored hair gel is a choice on the boys' cuts. Girls' options include a bob, a layered cut, and a diamond cut that can be shampoo and blow dry or one to two braids. Special-occasion up-dos come with curls, glitter spray and hair decor, and are suited to events such as father-daughter dances and first communions. A first haircut package is offered for children three and under, and includes a My First Haircut certificate, a photo and a lock of hair kept in a small bag.
Curly and textured hair has its own options, including a Curly Girl Cut for thick curly or textured hair, which is finger curled and diffused after the cut. A silk press uses a blow dry, flat iron and trim. Mothers can book a dry or spray cut with no layers, or a shampoo, cut and blow dry with light flat-iron touch-up if needed. Quick add-ons include a deep conditioning service, bang trims, edge clean-ups and a waist-length add-on.
Some visit rules are set out clearly. Clients may arrive up to 10 minutes late, after which the appointment is marked a no-show and rescheduled. Services that run past their allotted time are charged for each additional 15 minutes. Hair that arrives tangled brings an extra charge for detangling, and curly or thick textured hair may add time and cost, so clients are asked to call to confirm.
