DeMay Spa is located in suite 103 at 341 North 10th Avenue in Royersford and presents itself as a luxury spa focused on skin and body wellness. Debbi and Maygon co-founded the spa, and Maygon, the owner, also leads the esthetics team as lead esthetician.

About

The spa describes its team as highly trained and in demand, with a guest service team that aims to accommodate clients. Guests are asked to arrive 15 to 20 minutes before their appointment. On arrival they receive a locker, a spa robe and sandals, and complete welcome forms. Before or after a service they can use the Spa Lounge, where spa water, nut mix, herbal tea and hot neck pillows are available. Parking is complimentary.

Skin services run from a teen facial to The Works, and include exfoliation, extractions, enzymatic treatments, microchanneling, LED and needle-free options. Massage ranges from Swedish and hot stone to deep tissue, with scalp treatments, body scrubs and aromatherapy. Waxing is done with both cream and hard wax, and brow and lash services include tints, brow lamination and lash lifts.

Cancellations need 48 hours notice, and all treatments must be reserved with a credit card. A fee of 50 percent of the service amount may be charged for missed appointments or late cancellations. The spa accepts cash, checks, major credit cards, Venmo, DeMay Dollars and DeMay gift cards. Gratuities are not included in prices, and envelopes are left at the reception desk. Prices and treatments may change without notice.

Guests with allergies, sensitivities, disabilities or health concerns, including pregnancy, are asked to say so in advance. The spa cannot guarantee cross-contamination safety, particularly for citrus and nut allergies. Massage for pregnant clients is offered only in the second and third trimesters, and Bloom services are designed for expectant mothers who are advised to check with their doctor before trying a new product or service. Product returns for an allergic or negative reaction are accepted within 30 days for spa credit.

Private parties suit groups. Spa Connect and Spa Social are priced per guest per service, with Spa Social designed for parties of four to twelve guests who bring their own food and drinks. Spa Chic is a package for girls ages 12 to 16. Private parties need a 50 percent non-refundable deposit and are best booked up to six months ahead.

Services are built around carefully chosen products and a signature gardenia and lime aroma.
