A visit starts with a consultation. Clients who are new to the salon choose the New Client option within the Curly Cut Experience for their first appointment, and they are asked to share any special needs before booking so the salon can judge whether it is a good fit. Before a curly cut, clients come in with first or second day curls that are washed, detangled, lightly styled and dry, and they are asked to leave hats, rubber bands and updos at home. The cut is dry, so the stylist can see how the curls fall.

The Curly Cut Experience covers a dry curly cut, a cleanse, hydration, styling and drying, and clients leave with guidance on caring for their curls at home. The New Curly Cut Experience is a three-hour visit for new clients that includes an in-depth consultation. Returning clients book a shorter version, and the price depends on how long since their last visit.

Color is handled with attention to curl health. All Over Color is a single-process color from roots to ends, and it is dried when booked with a curly cut. Root touch-ups cover regrowth only. Curlayage is a hand-painted balayage shaped to each client's curl pattern and is offered to returning clients. Toners tone a previous Curlayage or adjust color to the same level or darker. Olaplex treatments are available as a standalone service or with a wash and diffuse dry for returning clients.
