The salon centers its work on hair health and chooses products meant to keep hair healthy. It uses Davines, a line the salon describes as organic, plant-based and naturally derived, made with organic ingredients from sustainable farms in Italy. The salon says its hair color products are gentle, safe and effective for clients and the environment. Services fall into cutting and styling, hair color, texture services, hair extensions and treatments. Every haircut includes a blow-dry and styling. Clients can wash their hair as soon as they like afterward. Keratin smoothing treatments reduce frizz, add shine and last up to four months. Perms are offered for wavy hair that needs more curl and body. Hair extensions begin with an initial consultation where the price is set. The stylists are certified in Great Lengths extensions, offering Cold Fusion NBR, hand tied wefts, I-tips, micro-link, keratin and tape-in applications.

Visits without an appointment depend on openings, but a consultation ahead of booking is encouraged. Bookings can be made online or by phoning (703) 706-5749. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays and Mondays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and the salon is closed on Tuesdays. Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made later, and no-shows, are charged 50% of the missed appointment's price. Wedding consultations are free. Wedding appointments call for signing a Wedding Services Contract and providing a credit card to secure the booking. Prices for treatments and services depend on hair density, length, the amount of product used and the stylist's level. Tips may be paid in cash or by personal check.
