Beyond locs, the studio offers microloc retwists and installs, loc and microloc extensions, Royal Reserve box braids in several sizes, sew-ins, crochet, feed-in braids and a set of protective styles for children aged 10 and under. Crown Styles include pipe cleaner curls and two strand twists. Each group is listed separately on the menu so clients can see what fits their hair.
New clients need a consultation first, which is $25 and takes about 45 minutes. Microloc work has its own $50 consultation. Once a client is established, the studio sells services in bulk as packages and offers three membership tiers for regular upkeep, with the Gold level including priority booking and free styles between retwists. There is no waiting area, and guests or extra people are not allowed during appointments, so the time is kept for the client and the stylist.
The studio says its focus is scalp health, consistency and long-lasting results, and works through a consultation before most services.
