Craft Collective works from two studios, East and West, in Units 1290 and 1296 at 3857 N Steele Street. The building is York Street Yards, across from Cohesion Brewing and near the main courtyard. Parking is free inside York Street Yards and along Steele Street. According to the salon, clients also travel in from New York, California and Miami.

Every visit starts with a detailed consultation so the stylist can learn your hair texture, tone and goals before any cut or color. New color and extension clients must book a consultation first, and it is a standalone appointment completed before any color or extension service can be scheduled. Existing clients who want to see a different stylist at the salon also need a new consultation.

The team includes independent stylists, a co-stylist and stylists working under the salon. The salon says every stylist is trained and supported to the same standard of expertise, precision and care. Ongoing training covers color, cutting and extensions, and team members take part in in-house and outside education about once a quarter. The salon is also hiring commission-based stylists, with Denver-based applicants preferred, and says benefits are available to eligible team members.

Extensions are one of the salon's specialties. Hand-tied extensions use wefts sewn into custom-placed rows, K-Tip extensions are bonded with keratin, and tape-in extensions are a lighter option. According to the salon, extension stylists are certified in several methods. Clients leave with a take-home kit and personalized care tips and product recommendations. Move-up maintenance visits check placement and confirm each bond or row is secure, and they are recommended every 8 to 12 weeks depending on method. Move-up visits do not include color and must be booked by phone or text.

A credit card must be on file to book any appointment. Cancellations and reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice given by phone, text, DM or email. Shorter notice incurs half the booked service value, while cancellations under 24 hours, same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged in full. Deposits are non-refundable, and a deposit can move once to a rescheduled time with 48 hours' notice. Hours are 10 AM to 4 PM on Monday, 10 AM to 6 PM Tuesday through Thursday, and 10 AM to 4 PM on Friday, with the salon closed on weekends. Clients can call (983) 444-2217 or text (720) 735-5456. Payment is by major credit or debit card or cash, with a 3% fee on credit cards. Tipping is optional and goes directly to the stylist.
